Everest View Trek is designed for those trekkers who wish to get a closer view of Mt. Everest but don’t have enough time for the Everest Base Camp trek. It is also suitable for those who have fitness issues and can’t go on a challenging and difficult trek. One who has a wish to explore the beauty, lifestyle and culture of Khumbu region must go on this trek. Everest View Trek offers you a wide variety of flora and fauna, different wild animals, gateway to Mt. Everest Namche Bazar, Isolated monasteries, majestic views of the mountains, excessive mountain villages and Sherpa community with their cultures and traditions.

Everest View Trek offers the visitors with the spectacular panoramic view of snowcapped mountains including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Mt. Everest (highest mountain of the world), Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Amadablam, Cho Oyu and other many beautiful mountains. You can get an opportunity to explore the natural beauty, lifestyle and culture of people living in this region. One can see a wide variety of flora and fauna found in the Khumbu region of our country.

Everest View Trek starts with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. We will then start our trek and reach the beautiful Namche Bazar village which is also known as the gateway of Everest. We will then trek to Phakdungwhich is an ancient Sherpa village. From Phakdung, we will trek to the Everest View Hotel from where we can see the spectacular views of mountain ranges including Everest, Annapurna, Lhotse, etc. We will then visit the nearby monasteries, temples and gumbas and do the sightseeing of nearby Sherpa villages. We will then return to Lukla and take a flight back to Kathmandu and end our incredible journey.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1400m):

Namaste and welcome to the country of Nepal. You will be welcomed by our representative in the Tribhuvan International Airport and then transferred to our hotel in Kathmandu. At evening, you will be welcomed by an authentic Nepalese cuisine in one of the typical Nepalese restaurants of Thamel and then we will do a briefing about the itinerary of our trip. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing including Bhaktapur and Lalitpur:

After an early morning breakfast, we will head towards the beautiful and ancient places of Kathmandu valley which includes the world heritage sites, temples, places and other many beautiful things. Talking about Kathmandu, this place is a paradise to the tourists of all over the world and one can get an opportunity to relax his/her body from head to toe by doing the sightseeing of some of the iconic things of the world. You will be taken to Pashupatinath temple which is one of the most religious and historical temples of Kathmandu. Thousands of devotees from Nepal, India and all over the world come to this ancient temple for their rituals and celebrations. After the visit of Pashupatinath, we will drive for 15-20 minutes to do the sightseeing of Bouddhanath stupa. After exploring these historical monuments, we will be doing the sightseeing of ancient Durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur. Visiting Lalitpur and Bhaktapur will give you an opportunity to see the living goddess, Kumari and explore the ancient streets filled with arts and architects. A refreshing evening walk on the streets of Thamel and Basantapur will make you feel Kathmandu a really cool and historical place and you will also explore lots of new things in these streets. At afternoon, we will be back to our hotel and do the briefing of Everest Expedition trip. You will be guided about some of the important rules and suggestions for the trip such as what is your responsibility, what to do and what not to do on the trek? You will be then introduced to your fellow expedition staffs and guides and relax the hotel after dinner. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Mountain flight to Lukla (2800m) and Trek to Phakding (2600m): 

You will take an early morning flight to Lukla. This 25minute short mountain flight gives you a pre-opportunity to do the sightseeing of Himalayan ranges from the aircraft. Once you reach Lukla you will take a short break and then trek to Phakding which takes about 3 hours. Overnight at tea house lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m):

Today is going to be an exciting day of our trip as we will trek along the bank of DudhKoshi river. We will trek to the gateway of Everest, Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar also known as the “Thamel of Everest” is a luxurious valley in the Khumbu region which has a numerous number of hotels, restaurants, lodges, spas, Atm’s and other many luxurious things. We will then trek to Manjo and then check for a permit and stay overnight at a tea house lodge.

Day 05: Acclimatization in Namche Bazar:

Today is our acclimatization day and we will do the sightseeing of different nearby authentic villages of Thame and Khumjung. Exploring these villages and trails will give you an opportunity to view some of the beautiful snowcapped Himalayan peaks including Mt. Thamaserku(6608 m), Ama-Dablam (6856 m), Mt. Lhotse (8510m), Mt. Everest (8848m), Mt. Nuptse (7861m), Island Peak (6189m), Tobuche (6367m) and many other beautiful mountain ranges. Overnight at a tea house lodge.

Day 06: Namche Bazar to Phortse:

Today’s hike is going to be a bit interesting as we will be trekking through various Sherpa villages to reach Phortse. During the trail to Pheriche, one can see the spectacular views of mountain ranges including Tawoche, AmaDablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, Kusum Kangaru, Malanphulan, Ombigaichan and others mountains. We also get an opportunity to do the sightseeing ofKhumbila, the mountain that rises above Namche.Sherpas worship this mountain as abode of the patron god of the Khumbu region. We will cross Dudhkoshi river before starting our short climb to Phortse village. Overnight at tea house lodge.

Day 07: Phortse to Pangboche to Thengboche:

Trekking for 4 hours will take us to Pangboche and then to Thengboche. One can get an opportunity to view the magnificent views of mountain ranges including Everest, Lhoste, Nuptse and AmaDablam. We will then descend via a steep trail and cross the bridge of Dudhkoshi river. We will then climb up through some unique passes and reach Thyangboche where you can do the sightseeing of Thyangboche monastery. Overninght at a tea house

Day 08: Tengboche to Menjo:

After the sightseeing of Thyangboche monastery, we will trek back to the gateway of Everest, Namche Bazar which is also known as the “Thamel” of Everest region. Trekking for one more hour from Namche Bazar will take us to Menjo. Overnight at a tea house.

Day 09: Menjo to Lukla:

Trekking about 5hrs via the ancient Sherpa settlements will bring us to Lukla form where we will fly back to Kathmandu.

Day 10: Fly to Kathmandu (1400m):

Early morning fly back to Kathmandu. You will have a free day for shopping and you can also explore the streets of Kathmandu.

Day 11: Departure day:

Transfer to airport for final departure to onward destination.
